Custom Made Furniture
We design and make furniture in the workshop conveniently situated behind our Portmarnock showroom. Our range of bespoke furniture includes sofas, corner units, chairs, footstools and headboards. We use solid beech hardwood frames for all our furniture. Each model can be tailored to suit your individual needs or we can work to designs or drawings that you provide to us.
Upholstery
If you have a treasured piece of furniture that needs a new lease of life, our upholstery service is what you are looking for. We use only the best materials for seat and back cushions. We have a large selection of fabrics to choose from in our showroom ranging from cottons, flatweaves and chenilles to dralons, leather and luxurious velvets. We also provide a French polishing and restoration service for antique pieces.
Curtain And Blinds
Portmarnock Furnishings also offers a made to measure Curtain and Blind service. We provide a full measuring and fitting service including supply and fit of rails or poles. There are lots of fabrics and linings to choose from and we can give you a loan of our sample books to make your colour selection in the comfort of your own home.

Our Team
Portmarnock Furnishings is directed by Anthony Byrne, an upholsterer with 40 years of experience and his brother Gerry. Customer service and interior design and decorating are led by Linda Darbey and Linda Gough.
